I'm bringing back garters as hosiery - True and Co is going to help.

I have a love for socks and a hatred for pants so it's common that as the season gets colder my socks get higher. This introduces a slight wardrobe issue. thigh highs on a not skinny girl, don't really stay put the way they should. There's a pretty great solution for that though! Garter belts. That's right, garter belts are those beautiful little thigh strings that keep socks up. Women had worn them for ages in every day life and then they fell out of fashion and became a budoir/lingerie/sexy time sort of thing. Well, I'm bringing back the garters because they are beautiful and functional and I effing like them!
That being said, I stumbled across a really great site over this past weekend, True and Co great because the website is set up wonderfully, the marketing is genius and the products look just fabulous. My friends were shocked that I would bother to be on a site that advertises bras so heavily (I hate bras just about as much as I hate pants), but what drew me in was this garter skirt.  It's beautiful, functional, a little sexy and holy hell am I going to be one confident not skinny gal strutting around with that under my skirt! WOOT! I needed it and so I ordered it.

While it hasn't yet come in I'm so excited about it. I cannot wait to get it, I read all of the reviews, there seem to a few set backs as are expected with beautiful pieces of hosiery. Oh and by the way, that's what garters were considered before they became something that people only considered for the bedroom. They were hosiery because they are a functional piece.

I'll be sure to update you when my package comes in (I'm expecting it to arrive this weekend) with all of the details and probably a few photos as well! In the mean time please visit and take a browse. Sign up and share your personal link to earn some credits, when your friends make their first purchase that is.

Of course if you use my link you get $25 credit towards your purchase of $25 or more!

October 2014 Ipsy Glam Bag Review.

October's IPSY glam bag doesn't disappoint. I love the bag this month, and the goodies inside are pretty fun as well!

Albertini - Warm Love Pumpkin Exfoliating Mask

I'm pretty excited to give this one a go. Plan is to use it later tonight, with a name like 'warm love' how can it disappoint?!

Figs & Rouge - Hand Cream

The scent of this is so familiar and wonderful. With the temperatures dropping I'll need a good hand cream and this one is top of the list!

Indie Lee -Brightening Cleanser

Well, I've been searching for a new cleanser. I here's hoping this one does a better job than the Mary Kay I spent too much dough on.

Skone Cosmetics - TATTOOED Waterproof Eyeliner

I LOVE this one. It has a marker tip so it's easy to apply, lasts well and comes off easily with make up remover despite being waterproof. What more could you want?!

Starlooks - Lip Gloss

Honestly, it's just a little too sticky for me. I HATE having sticky lip glosses. This one was a dud.

I also snagged a few bonuses with my ipsy points. Those are Bellapierre cosmetics, one is Peony an illuminating bronzer and the other is pink cheek & lip stain. I was shocked to find that the cheek and lip stain has absolutely no fragrance at all. It smells like nothing, which gets a thumbs up from me!

If you're not an ipsy member sign up now! You'll get onto a waiting list, but it's well worth the wait. These little glam bags are never a disappointment and for only $10 a month what are you waiting for?!

Ipsy Glam bag May 2014 Review - Fresh Picks

Another happy month with Ipsy! The Fresh Picks May 2014 Glam bag from Ipsy didn't disappoint. I was reading a few other reviews and it seems some weren't happy with the selection of items. I've got to say I'm not one of them.

This month's glam bag introduced me to a new perfume scent I really enjoy, a great anti-aging sunscreen and a really exciting hair mask.

I know I'm always gushing over how much I love this bag, but it's genuine. I love the anticipation of waiting to see what will be coming, the email saying that my ipsy glam bag is on the way and opening up my bag to see what goodies I've received. It's a present I buy for myself every month. Now that I've officially cancelled Birchbox, I also have found that I don't even need another beauty box to feel like I've got enough to try. The sample sizes are usually deluxe and I love trying new things.

Here's what we was in my bag:

Therapy Session Hair Mask

Mineral Eyeshadow Duo

Thermal Spring Water

Calvin Klein

endless euphoria

Jersey Shore Sun®

Sans Tan Anti-aging Sunscreen

The Moxie lipstick by Bare Minerals was my bonus. If you get friends to join IPSY you too can snag some really great goodies at the end of the month with the points you earn. You also earn points for reviewing and sharing so get on it!

Truekare Breast Forms Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

Truekare Breast Forms are a great way to enhance your busts! Bust must plus! The forms themselves require no adhesive and fit comfortably into your bra. I opted for the medium sized which have a nipple, it's slight an really great. Say you're trying to hide a nipple piercing in a dress...boom these have you covered!

They stay really comfortable and don't cause too much sweating. They also have a fairly real fit and feel.  I liked that the forms have a nice concave for a comfortable fit. I mean you're getting what you think you're getting. In my case they offered a nice push up and really enhanced my cleavage.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

It's that time of year again, bikini season!

It's a time of year that many women dread, mostly because the media says you should be skinny and you're probably not. Well I am of the opinion that the easiest way to having a bikini body is to put on a fucking bikini.

We're not perfect, not one of us. The models you see in magazines they don't look like that, not really. They have cellulite, they dehydrate themselves for photo shoots and now with photoshop they are even more processed. It's simply not realistic to look at those magazines and strive for that as a standard of what's beautiful.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not skinny, but I'm not hating on skinny gals. I know you struggle too, those beauty standards aren't true for you either! Sure you can get the boob job and have size gigantic tits, but really who gives a fuck? Embrace who you are, eat, drink and be merry!

We're all different, we're all beautiful and if you're healthy, you should be happy. If you're not, then get to work bitch! By all health standards I am obese. I'm usually between a 32-34 BMI. Mostly because those things don't factor in the amount of muscle I have on my body. Spending years as a a muscle jerk means I'm more muscular than most and because of my muscle mass my ideal weight might be somewhere around 160-170 lbs. I could aim for 150 but it would be tough to maintain. Am I over the ideal weight I would like to be at? FUCK YES! I'm 200lbs and I would love to drop 30-40 lbs, but am I going to starve myself to do it? No. Am I going to shrivel and hide in the corner pretending that I don't matter because I'm not 'ideal'? Fuck no! I'm going to try to make better choices and I'm going to wear a bikini to the fucking beach.

I put one on today, I own several. I look beautiful, even in last night's make-up, unshowered and untouched. I hope you realize that swimsuits aren't your enemy, and you're beautiful.

Now all I need is a tan.
