Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred Day 1

I try to stay away from diets that promise such dramatic weight loss. It's unrealistic and I'm just not naive enough to think I'm going to swallow a few pills and be a skinny bitch. I tried out the 30 day shred workout a few months ago and I liked it. As I was browsing for 30 day blog challenges for some reason it showed up in my search (great job on the SEO there Jillian Michaels team) but I decided that maybe instead of a 30 day nail challenge a 30 day kicking my own ass challenge would be better.

Now here we are. Amazon actually has all three levels available on their instant streaming and that's how I chose to purchase it. All three levels and I paid $5.97.

My problem has never been an inability to do things, it's just lethargy. I'm not really lazy, I love to get out and do things. I just work from home and get easily distracted. I'm going to try to really stay on track with this one and I'm hoping you'll help me with my accountability because I'm going to do my best to blog about my challenge here often.

Now for the fun part here's where I'm starting from:

 Measurements:
Height - 5'3
Waist - 38
Hip - 44
Thigh - 25

Whew those are hard numbers to look at. Time to get moving and shaking.

  1. You will do it!! Looking forward to hearing how those numbers decrease and not only from weight loss--but from toning the muscles--now to convince myself to do it lol

  8. That is a great price! If you really want to do, you can do it. I have faith in anyone who wants it bad enough! I learned that you can't set yourself up for failure. Weightloss is ALL about baby steps. Wishing you the best.

    A great app for your smart phone to calorie count and more is My Fitness Pal and you can also find it online at www.myfitnesspal.com. It can also friend other and have a great support system.

  10. I am horrible at diets and working out. Having 3 kids makes it difficult. my fiancee goes to the gym daily. Which leaves me with zero time to go. Our wedding is on the fourth of August and I have not lost anything. Ugh. It is my own fault though. These 50 lbs are not going to shed themselves. One day. Best of luck to you on your journey.
