Music gets me going. NIN - Hesitation Marks

Source
I've been listening to Nine Inch Nails since I can remember. I think Pretty Hate Machine came out when I was 5 or 6, an Uncle of mine listened to it often and I was quickly hooked. I've even once been kicked out of a NIN concert for being to rowdy. Imagine that...kicked out of a metal concert..for being rowdy. I feel like that deserves an award. Someone please contact Trent Reznor and let him know that in 2007 I was removed from his concert at the Tweeter Center in New Jersey for being drunk and rowdy and I would like an award for it. I think it's only fair considering I had to walk, make that stumble drunkenly through Camden and managed to make it out alive. Thanks homeless lady who wanted to rob me for getting me to PATCO.

Swoon worthy for sure. SOURCE
Anyway, if you haven't yet heard there's a new NIN album on the horizon. I've already pre-ordered Hesitation Marks due out on September 3rd 2013 and I'm dying to have it! I tend to work out to NIN songs they pump me up and I get to imagine the swoon worthy Trent Reznor whilst putting myself through the grueling pain of getting unfat.

It's been so long since we've had new music from NIN I'm just absurdly excited. 5 years is a long time to be patient. I've got about another month to wait for Hesitation Marks and I'm ready to pop.

What music gets you motivated for a workout

I used Amazon to pre-order for $25.98 I'm getting the 2LP (vinyl, because vinyl is amazing) and the CD and I WANT IT NOW! ARGH!

  3. I'm not sure that I've ever listened to NIN, but thanks for sharing about the new album. I'll have to check it out. And I agree that anyone that can manage to be removed from a metal concert for being too rowdy definitely deserves and award!!!

  4. I have never been big into music until recently. I've found a few headphones that really make the music clear and it seems so much better. I am looking for some good workout music!

  5. LOOOOVE NIN. They are in my workout list for sure, but I'm not picky in general. Anything that is active and gets my heart pumping will work for me.

  6. I guess I don't pay much attention to what is playing when I set my Pandora to workout music and go. I am usually swimming and I know I am listening but to be honest, right now I couldn't tell you what it was. lol I know it better be some rock and some fast paced stuff.

  7. I'm not really a music / workout kinda girl. My exercise usually consists of natural elements such as walking in the park, swimming, hiking, ect. We have 3 acres and a pretty hilly yard so sometimes I will just walk around the yard up and down the hills. I like the nature sounds of the birds and squirrels too much to get in the habit of playing music during these times. But I do like NIN :) My boyfriend is a musician and I believe he actually got to open for them once. I know their band opened for other acts such as Marilyn Manson and White Zombie while they were touring, so I get to listen to plenty of good music live at home...
