Voting day - What I'm Wearing.

I'm a girl who loves to exercise her right to VOTE! That's right I'm a voter and today is election day. Local elections which have, possibly the worst voter turn out are the most important. It's where politicians get started on their political careers and it's important to research, decide and make your vote count. I've done my civic duty and made my votes.

My little voting day trick is to dress up a bit more than I normally would just to draw some attention. The reason for this is that I want people to ask why I'm dressed up so I can remind them they were supposed to vote, hopefully they are registered voters and have time to stop by the polls. It's also a great reason for me to feel even more excited about taking the time to vote.

Dress: Pinup girl Clothing Ava Dress ($108.00)
Shoes: Pancaldi for Diane B (flea market find $5)
Jewelry: Random costume + vintage
Watch: Timex Dress Chronograph ($95)
Pill Box Hat: ShopCarousel ($30)

I have to say that I haven't worn a watch since high school. I was in an unfortunate accident that drove my crown into my wrist and it needed to be surgically removed...so I just stopped wearing watches. However now that I've been wearing this Timex watch (on #timextuesday) I have to admit that it makes me feel like a million bucks. There's something really classy about being asked the time and looking to your wrist and not your phone.
