Leather Charm Bracelet Review - Penny Auctions Canada

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.
I was pretty excited to receive this leather charm bracelet from Penny Auctions Canada to review. Boasting of such features as leather bands, steel lobster clamp and alloy charms it seemed like I'd be in love. However I can't say I'm entirely pleased with the quality. I'm hoping that mine is the exception to the rule, but a I noticed a few faults on the product that have left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth.

For a start my 'steel clamp' is pretty bent and doesn't appear to be high quality. My suede bands are pretty fuzzy and look to be synthetic though I could be wrong. I don't see anything exactly like the piece I received on the Penny Auctions Canada site so I don't know what the price point for this is. I'd say that depending on what that is, my opinion on the piece would lean one way or the other. At the current moment I'm a bit middle of the road.

I'd wear it, and I certainly think it's pretty. Much of my opinion again, would rest on the price point.

That being said I'll admit that I'm really intrigued by the Penny Auction. I've personally never tried it out but the How it works page is pretty informative. You purchase several bids for .75¢, and use that to bid on products. Each bid increases the price of the item by a penny, thus the 'penny auction' moniker. Seems simple enough and I'm pretty sure I'm going to jump in on the game.

I would also like to note that Penny Auction Canada has some pretty sweet Daily Deals! I noted that they have some Tungsten rings for decent prices, even using the 'Buy Now' price, assuming you're too impatient to wait for auctions to end.

Overall, though I'm not in love with the product I personally was sent to review, I do like what I see over at Penny Auction Canada and wouldn't rule them out as a resource for some great gifts and accessories.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
