Uniquely You ModCloth

I was tasked with creating a fun and unique look based around the Lead By Example dress currently available on ModCloth for a Uniquely You ModCloth Challenge. I'm such a fan of this style of dress! Perfectly suited for all body types and really easy to play with. I'm a huge fan of mixing colors and being really playful with classics. I suppose you might call me a preppy. I'm totally cool with that.

Here's my Uniquely You ModCloth Lead by Example dress challenge collage.

Uniquely You - ModCloth

Sheath dress / Tabbisocks red tight / Yellow shoes / Yellow shoes / Rhinestone earrings / Lola Ramona pins brooch / Red hat / Red umbrella

Brooches need to make a comeback so I was sure to include one in my look. I've quite the collection and rarely leave home without one. Since Spring is coming and there's a bit of a chill hanging around consider red leggings, or go without them if you live in warmer temps. Audrey Hepburn wouldn't agree with adding an umbrella...well Audrey as Sabrina wouldn't, but I don't live in Paris and using a standard black boring umbrella isn't my style, so instead match yours to your red hat and why not choose a duck!

While you're thinking about fun dresses and spring time be sure to check out some of the lovely frocks available now on Modcloth.

What do you think? What accessories might you choose to wear with your Lead by Example dress?

  1. I really love how you accessorized that dress! So 1940's chic. Or maybe it's 1950's. ;-)
